ST. AUGUSTINE AND THE SURROUNDING AREA 

St. Augustine is situated in Northeast Florida, approximately 30 minutes from Jacksonville and 1 ½ hours from Orlando. Approximately 12,000 residents live in the city which sees over 3 million visitors each year. The area attracts people from around the world who come for its charm, history, and abundance of outdoor recreational activities. Surrounded by beaches and opportunities for boating, fishing,  golf,  tennis and other sports all year long. St. Augustine is fast becoming the place for a diverse group of travelers.

Located in St. Johns County in Ponte Vedra Beach, approximately 20 minutes from St. Augustine, are the PGA and ATP headquarters. The World Golf Village, also minutes away, provides visitors with an 18-hole golf course, the Golf Hall of Fame, and the PGA Tour productions headquarters. In addition to golf and tennis, St. Augustine attracts drivers and fans with its million-dollar raceway.

St. Augustine is easily accessible off of I-95. Enormous growth has occurred on SR 16, US 1, and Highway 207, the main roads leading to town. Two outlet malls are now open featuring internationally-recognized stores. The city has attracted popular food and lodging businesses, both indicators of the growing interest in the economic opportunities of St. Augustine.
